Sub-watershed status: Impaired biological conditions were detected during 7 separate<br />

assessments conducted at 5 different locations within the sub-watershed. Sedimentation<br />

and nutrient enrichment were likely causes <strong>of</strong> the impairments. SWCD landuse estimates<br />

identified run<strong>of</strong>f from forestry lands, and septic tank failure as the main concerns within<br />

the sub-watershed. Sedimentation from gullies, sand and gravel pits, mined areas, and<br />

streambanks was also a concern.<br />
