Conduit terminations at wall<br />
surface finish<br />
For wall terminations, fixing plate<br />
type HX103 Terminal Back Plate is<br />
used.<br />
The HX103 Terminal Back Plate can<br />
be used to mount two terminals<br />
side by side, or it can be easily split<br />
to form two single plates. The<br />
HX103 Terminal Back Plate can also<br />
be used to fix a maximum of four<br />
Wall Plate Elbows.<br />
The wall termination procedure for<br />
using the HX103 Terminal Back<br />
Plate, stages 1 to 4, is shown below.<br />

The Conduit Terminal is fitted to the<br />
Terminal Back Plate (showing the brass<br />
connecting plate).<br />
The conduit is fitted to the Conduit<br />
Terminal body. Pipe within conduit is then<br />
push-fitted into retaining cap of brass<br />
connecting plate.<br />

The brass connecting plate is screw fixed<br />
to Conduit Terminal body, then the<br />
plasterboard and finish are made flush.<br />
Hep 2 O ® adaptor (HX31) is screwed to<br />
the connecting plate, and the appliance<br />
connection made.<br />
