Students will write the rhythmic notation for the chant<br />
“Fruit Salad” on the attached worksheet. Work will be<br />
evaluated on how well the notation of the rhythm matches<br />
the words, the number of beats notated in each measure,<br />
<strong>and</strong> the accuracy of the drawing of the notes:<br />
• Knowledge: Know how to match the notation of a rhythm<br />
to a chant <strong>and</strong> to match the number of beats in a measure<br />
to each word<br />
• Process: Write an accurate eight measure rhythmic<br />
notation for a chant, placing the stems correctly on the note<br />
heads.<br />
