“Exceeds”<br />
The field test teachers suggested the following points:<br />
Form:<br />
– Provided a clear description that included the number of dancers,<br />
beats, <strong>and</strong> directions <strong>and</strong> also explained what foot it began on.<br />
Repetition:<br />
– Explained that their repeated action was tapping <strong>and</strong> gave many<br />
specific examples of how they varied it with flops, shuffles, <strong>and</strong> so<br />
forth.<br />
Contrast <strong>and</strong> Variety:<br />
– Explains that they varied movement, level, <strong>and</strong> direction, tempo, <strong>and</strong><br />
ability. Gives many detailed examples of how this variety was<br />
achieved (e.g. triplets, skips, punches, drags, <strong>and</strong> jumps) <strong>and</strong> gives<br />
many specifics about the direction changes.<br />
