XRM mobile fault locating receiver<br />

XRM receiver<br />
operation<br />
The XRM mobile receiver, used with a<br />
current probe, is mainly intended as an<br />
enhancement to automatic fault locating<br />
systems. It can be placed at various points<br />
along a faulty circuit, capturing the signal<br />
emitted by an XM300C, XML308/316 or<br />
XM200 insulation monitoring device to<br />
determine the exact location of the fault.<br />
Three current probes are available, the<br />
XM15, XP50 and XP100.<br />
The set of live conductors to be tested must<br />
have a maximum diameter of 12, 50<br />
and 100 mm respectively.<br />

The XRM receiver displays a number<br />
from 0 to 19, corresponding to the insulation<br />
level:<br />
c 0: no fault;<br />
c 19: solid fault (no insulation).<br />
