customers best of all. Their influence<br />
on creating ranges and in<br />
the planning phase is crucial.<br />
October 2011:<br />
– Second tier of management strengthened<br />
Johannes Schuller (50) joins the Charles Vögele<br />
Group as Vice President Sourcing, while Wolfgang<br />
H. Zumkeller (34) joins the Company as Vice<br />
President Business Information Centre. Charles<br />
Vögele thus adds two more internationally experienced<br />
managers to its team.<br />
– Country merchandise management strengthened<br />
Responsibility for operational management of our<br />
merchandise in the sales organizations is transferred<br />
to the country merchandise managers. This<br />
ensures that countryspecific interests can be<br />
factored in when ranges are put together and when<br />
plans are made for specific product groups. The<br />
principle of centralized merchandise management<br />
remains in place, however.<br />

– Til Schweiger in the spotlight at the second<br />
Charles Vögele Fashion Days in Zurich On the<br />
opening night, Til Schweiger takes to the catwalk<br />
to show off the collection he has designed. Pop and<br />
soul singer Sarah Connor provides the evening’s<br />
musical entertainment. Swiss models Leijla Hodzic,<br />
Ronja Furrer and Anouk Manser are joined on<br />
the catwalk by reigning Miss Austria, Carmen Stamboli,<br />
and the former face of Nivea, Pia Pauli.<br />
– New group management structure and amended<br />
brand strategy As part of the ongoing implementation<br />
of the 3pillar strategy, the Board of Directors<br />
and Group Management announce the addition of<br />
a COO (Chief Operating Officer) and a CCO (Chief<br />
Commercial Officer), as well as the introduction of<br />
a singlebrand strategy. In future Charles Vögele<br />
will dispense with the separate Casa Blanca, Biaggini<br />
and Kingfield brands and concentrate on the<br />
“Charles Vögele” umbrella brand.
