Maurice Jourdain-Earl
Maurice Jourdain-Earl is founder and Managing Director of CLC Compliance
Technologies, Inc. (ComplianceTech). Formed in 1991, ComplianceTech specializes in
strategic fair lending and emerging markets consulting. ComplianceTech’s emerging
market services help lenders assess opportunities to lend to minority and low-to-moderate
income homebuyers. The company’s fair lending services help lenders use technology to
comprehensively manage fair lending compliance. ComplianceTech is also the organizer
of Lending Industry Diversity Conference, Inc. which sponsors the Annual Mortgage
Lending Industry Diversity and Emerging Markets Conference.
Mr. Jourdain-Earl has over 33 years of experience in the financial services business,
including prior stints at Citicorp Mortgage, Inc., PMI Securities Co., and Continental
Bank. He helps clients navigate the regulatory and operational complexities of emerging
markets, diversity and fair lending issues. For the last 15 years, he has been actively
involved in projects with clients to detect and minimize discrimination in, underwriting,
pricing and marketing mortgage, auto and consumer loans. Throughout his career, he has
evaluated the operational and lending platforms of many lenders including the review of
various types of loans.
Mr. Jourdain-Earl is a noted speaker on lending and banking issues, particularly HMDA
and fair lending practices. He has spoken at events sponsored by the Federal Reserve
Bank, The Federal Home Loan Bank, America’s Community Bankers, Practicing Law
Institute and the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. A native of Chicago,
Illinois, he holds a B.A. degree in Social Science from DePaul University.
