Mintage equipment always has its
great the good ol'
days were. But, really,
who is kidding
whom?
193d Pierce-
\rrow automobile I
owned many years
ago was nearly indestructible;
so were
the Brenkert and
Monograph projectors.
The Pierce-Arrow
had two interest-
Glenn Berggren
lg inputs. First, it typified a generous
mount of engineering, par excellence. In
'ther words, it was over designed along
.ith too many features. Second, it embodied
With today's fuel costs being what they
by the way. just might explain why Ford
is Mill with us and Pierce-Arrow is not.
V-ain, the same can be said of the Brenkert
Motiograph.
iand
True, they don't build them like they
'•nee did; and, it's a good thing, because
couldn't afford them if they did. Imag-
ine a deluxe automobile today that had a
price tag ten times that of a new Ford, the
