Calculates potential for energy savings and amortization time –
SinaSave
Selection for motors and frequency converters
• SinaSave is designed for selecting
a motor for mains-fed operation or a frequency
converter for variable-speed operation
• In the case of mains-fed operation, cost savings can be calculated as
well as the amortization time for our energy-saving motors of classes
IE2 or NEMA Premium on the basis of three comparison cases.
IE2 motors in comparison to
– IE1 or EPAct motors
– Individually selected and known motors
– Known motors within an overall plant analysis
• In the case of converter-fed operation, SinaSave takes into account all
the necessary plant-specific parameters as well as the values required
for the process. From the plant-specific data, SinaSave calculates the
matching drive system, the price of the appropriate frequency converter
and the energy requirement of the variable-speed system in
comparison to all alternative concepts
