Integrated Peripherals Submenu Options 2 Configuration options for the Integrated Peripherals submenu are given in Table 2-3. Note that some peripheral interfaces are only available when using the Stylistic 1200 port replicator. The setting selected for this option applies to serial port B regardless of the serial port B device setting. Select FIR and desired DMA (direct memory access) channel assignment for fast IrDA mode. Select SIR for Standard IrDA mode. (DMA transfers are not supported in Standard IrDA mode.) Note that this option is not applicable when serial port B is assigned to the RS-232-C port on the port replicator. I/O address and IRQ assignment for parallel port. Operation mode for parallel port. Select ECP, DMA Channel 1 or 3 for extended capabilities port mode. PC Card Controller CardBus PCIC Compatible Disabled Determines the protocol used to access PC Cards installed in your system.
