3.29.6 The English form for the number must be used. That is single vertical line for<br />
the "one" and a sloping line without a horizontal line for the "seven" (see<br />
technical diagrams)<br />
3.29.7 All other number plates or markings on a motorcycle liable to cause<br />
confusion with the number must be removed before the start of a<br />
competition.<br />
3.29.8 Number and number plate colours<br />
3.29.8.1 Front Number Plates<br />
Unless authorised in the Supplementary Regulations, Championship or<br />
Class Conditions the following colour combinations must be used:<br />
125cc Black Background White Numbers<br />
125 Cup Yellow Background Black Numbers<br />
Supersport White Background Blue Numbers<br />
Supersport Cup Yellow Background Black Numbers<br />
Superstock 1000 Red Background White Numbers<br />
Superstock 600 Red Background Yellow Numbers<br />
Superbike White Background Black Numbers<br />
Superbike Evo Yellow Background Black Numbers<br />
3.29.8.2 Side Number Plates<br />
Any colour background with a contrasting colour number that is clearly<br />
defined from the background and complies with 3.29.3. To help identification<br />
the numbers should be surrounded by a single black line of at least 5mm<br />
thickness.<br />
3.29.9 Unless specified in the Championship or Supplementary regulations<br />
advertising must not appear on the number plate<br />
3.29.10 Motorcycles with number plates that do not comply with the above<br />
regulations will not be passed by the eligibility control officials for practice or<br />
race. The decision of the Chief Technical Officer and/or Technical Director<br />
will be final.<br />
3.29.11 The organisers will not be responsible or give dispensation to any<br />
competitor who is delayed or misses their practice session or race due to<br />
numbers not complying with the regulations. Nor will the timekeepers be<br />
responsible for not recording times. In addition a competitor may be fined or<br />
excluded by the Clerk of the Course for non-compliance.<br />
3.30 FUEL AND OIL TANKS<br />
3.30.1 The maximum capacities of fuel tanks in solo competitions are:<br />
Road <strong>Racing</strong><br />
32 litres<br />
Sports Production Superbike 24 litres<br />
Supersport 18 litres<br />
Superstock<br />
As Manufactured<br />
3.30.1.1 Fuel must be contained in a single tank securely fixed to the machine.<br />
Seat tanks and auxiliary tanks are forbidden.<br />
The use of a quickly detachable replacement tank as a means of refuelling is<br />
strictly forbidden in all types of competition.<br />
3.30.1.2 The fuel tank must be fixed to the frame from the front and from the rear<br />
with a crash-proof assembly system.<br />
