3.51 PARC FERME<br />

3.51.1 1) Machines must go direct to the parc ferme immediately after each<br />

qualifying practice and race.<br />

2) One helper is allowed to assist the rider to place the machine on a<br />

paddock stand, after which all personnel must leave parc ferme. The<br />

machine must not otherwise be touched or interfered with.<br />

3) Machines will be held in the parc ferme as follows:<br />

Qualifying Practice<br />

1st session<br />

All machines must go direct to the<br />

designated parc ferme, the technical officials<br />

may select machines for examination or may<br />

release machines as soon as possible.<br />

2nd, final or only session<br />

or Superbike Qualification<br />

Race<br />

All machines must go directly to the parc<br />

ferme for a minimum of 30 minutes.<br />

All machines must go to the parc ferme for<br />

30 minutes.<br />

Where the class has two races on the same<br />

day. After the first race all machines must go<br />

direct to the parc ferme or may go directly to<br />

the garage, if allocated. The technical<br />

officials may select machines for<br />

examination or release machines as soon as<br />

possible, however, NO WORK MAY BE<br />

CARRIED OUT ON MACHINES FOR 15<br />

MINUTES UNLESS AUTHORISED BY AN<br />

OFFICIAL, if instructed the machine must be<br />

taken immediately to Technical Control.<br />

A mechanic must be available outside of the parc ferme during this period.<br />

3.51.2 Any protest against a machine must be lodged when a machine is held in<br />

the parc ferme.<br />

3.51.3 Failure to comply will incur judicial penalties in accordance with B<br />

4.5.4.<br />

3.51.4 If a motorcycle is involved in an accident, the rider must present his<br />

machine for re-examination together with helmet and clothing. If the helmet<br />

is clearly defective it will be retained until after the meeting.<br />

The rider will not be allowed to continue in the event until he receives<br />

clearance from the Chief Technical Officer.<br />

3.51.5 Post Race/Practice Eligibility Checking<br />

Any machine may be checked after the Race or Practice to ensure it<br />

conforms to the eligibility regulations. The rider or his team is responsible for<br />
