Innovation Is Never Just About Products<br />
Vanilla led to one of our first innovations. In 1874, Dr. Wilhelm Haarmann,<br />
one of the founders of our company, made vanillin as the first synthetic aroma<br />
compound. Today we are focusing on developing and marketing natural vanilla<br />
aromas and extracts.<br />
Innovation does not begin with products.<br />
It begins earlier, with the way in which<br />
we think about products. For example,<br />
our “AND” products offer an added benefit.<br />
