5 SETTING AND OPERATION
5.1 DETERGENT DOSING
5.1.1 Dosing the detergent in conductometric mode (PROBE)
To set the machine to conductometric sensor (PROBE) detergent dosing mode, switch the DIP-switch 2 to the
“ON” (PROBE) position. The pump doses at top speed until the set point is reached.

When TWINDOSE 35 receives a signal from the dishwasher’s washing pump on its IN WASH terminal, the
conductometric sensor detects the concentration in the tank. When the concentration drops below the set point,
set using potentiometer POT3, the control circuit automatically activates the detergent pump and stops when the
conductivity in the tank rises more than 10% higher than the set point.
The detergent pump’s speed depends on how much the concentration in the tank differs from the set point:
• When the concentration in the tank is below 80% of the set point, the pump doses at top speed.
• When the concentration in the tank is between 80% and 90% of the set point, the pump doses at 50% of its
top speed.
• When the concentration in the tank is above 90% of the set point, the pump doses at 25% of its top speed.
If TWINDOSE 35 does not receive a signal on its IN WASH terminal, the control circuit will not activate detergent
dosage, even if the concentration of detergent in the tank is below the set point.
If the correct concentration of detergent is not reached within the two OFA time intervals set, the “OFA2” alarm
is activated automatically and detergent dosage stops.
In this alarm state, the LED configuration is as follows.
• DET LED: flashing
• ALARM LED: lit permanently
• The buzzer sounds continuously.
• The alarm relay output is activated.
To reset the alarm status, eliminate the cause and restart the system.
