Fall Foliage Cruise on the Navesink River
(ages 12 and up, under 18 with adult)
Cruise the Navesink River aboard the Rum Runner, a
classic 28-foot wooden motor boat designed like the
ones used in the HBO Boardwalk Empire television
series to transport illegal liquor during prohibition in
New Jersey. There’s no better way to enjoy the change
in color of fall foliage than on board this boat cruising
along the calm waters of the Navesink River. The
setting is picturesque and peaceful as fall leaves begin
to display their bold, brilliant colors. Bring binoculars,
a camera, and something warm to wear as it can get
chilly on the open water. This is a fun autumn adventure
not to be missed!
