Exploring the Morris Canal - Part 2

Eroded by time, the remains of this 19th century engineering
marvel can be hard to find, but not if you know where to
look! The second installment of this series takes us from
Saxton Falls to Lake Hopatcong. The highlight of our day is
a visit to Canal Heritage Day at Waterloo, presented by the
Canal Society of NJ. Although we will be traveling by minibus
to various locations, please be advised that this trip
involves an appreciable amount of walking, sometimes on
less than ideal terrain. Please Note: Hiking shoes are highly
recommended. Pack a bag lunch.

The zoo will have activities for children including hay
rides. Children age 3-12 wearing a wildlife costume may
