Living on the Edge: Teen Club<br />
(ages 13-17)<br />
Is your teenager looking for “cool things” to do Are you tired of him or her being attached to their electronics, with<br />
no other interests Check out this Park System adventure club for young adults! We offer an immeasurable array of<br />
seasonal activities and weekend field trips that involve cross-country skiing, canoeing, biking, kayaking, archery,<br />
climbing, horseback riding, camping and much more. Activities are designed with teens’ interests and input while<br />
providing a safe and supervised environment. This is a unique opportunity for young adults to make new friends,<br />
enhance their health and creative development, and build leadership skills for future endeavors. It will be a fun<br />
time and provide the flare they are seeking. Fee includes four-month membership where team building and pretrip<br />
skills will be presented. Special events and trips are a la carte and might involve additional fees. Club meetings<br />
will take place at various Park locations-first meeting at Manasquan Reservoir. REMEMBER: “Only those who risk<br />

Honors societies, colleges, employers – do you feel like everyone is looking for leaders but no one is teaching<br />
you how to lead How will you get experience if no one will give you a chance Teen Leadership Council can<br />
help! Learn leadership skills through hands-on projects, such as community event planning. You’ll see your<br />
experiences evolve into marketable job skills and propel you onto the radar of college recruiters. So, meet new<br />
friends, share your ideas for teen programs and events, have a snack and earn community service hours, too!<br />
