VOL. X., No. 3. JULY, 1910. PRICE FOURPENCE.
Editor's Notes.
THIS being the first number which has appeared
since the death of His late Majesty King
Edward VII., it is impossible to commence
without mention of that great calamity, which
visited the Empire on the 22nd of May. The
world-wide expressions of regret and revercnce
for his memory are the most eloquent testimony
to the esteem in which he was held by
all sections of his people, and by no section
more deeply than his Army.
The Regiment can fully participate in the
universal sorrow, and extend their respectful
sympathy, especially to their Colonel-in-Chief
in his personal bereavement.
The Editor begs to acknowledge with many
thanks receipt of the following donations
and subscriptions since last issue :-" In
as a most instructive record of the evolution
