Economic Hazdship The application shall be made ona form prepazed<br />

by theCommission The Conunission may hold a public hearing on the<br />

hazdship application<br />

All ofthe following criteria shall be considered to determine the exis<br />

tence ofan economichardship<br />

1 Denial of a Certificate willre saltin a substanfial reduction in<br />

the economic value oftheproperty<br />

2 Denial of a certificate will result in a substantial economic<br />

burden on the applicant because the applicant<br />

cannot reasona<br />

blymaintainthe property in its current form<br />

3 No reasonable alternative exists consistent with the architec<br />

tural standards andguidelines for the property<br />

4 The owner has been unable to sell the property utIlizing best<br />

efforts<br />
