sexual predator or whose conviction was of achild victim oriented
offense as those terms are defined by OhioRC 2950

533 17 PROHIBITIONS ON RESIDENCY
a It is unlawful for any person who is required to register as a
sexually oriented offender under Ohio RC 2950 04 and classified as a
TierIII sex offender or whose conviction was of achild victim
oriented offense as those terms are defined by OhioRC 2950 01to
reside within one thousand1000 feet of a school preschool Child
day care library park or municipally owned recreation facility
b Any person who violates this section is guilty of a
misdemeanor in the first degree
jc This section applies to any person registering on or after the
effective date of this legislation

That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace property
health safety and welfare ih the City and for the usual daily operation ofthe City for
the reascnS Set fOiih anddc Ined In rile preamble t0 thiS ordinance and prOVided It
receives the affirmative vote ofat least five5 of its members elected to Council this
ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption by the Council
and approval by the Mayor otherwise it shall take effect and be in force after the
earliest period allowed by law
