The roadmap promotes full development and deployment of a persistent, robust distributed<br />

test system to l<strong>in</strong>k a large number of diverse LVC resources (Figure 4) that will enable jo<strong>in</strong>t<br />

operat<strong>in</strong>g environments and provide all the essential tools for systems eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g, test<strong>in</strong>g,<br />

tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g, and experimentation. This overarch<strong>in</strong>g capability is the l<strong>in</strong>chp<strong>in</strong> required for test<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><br />

a jo<strong>in</strong>t environment as well as systems eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g and a number of other pivotal requirements.<br />

This distributed network<strong>in</strong>g of capabilities will serve as a valuable systems eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

test<strong>in</strong>g asset for PMs across the acquisition lifecycle to achieve the jo<strong>in</strong>t mission requirements<br />

def<strong>in</strong>ed by the CDD and CPD. From Concept Ref<strong>in</strong>ement through Operations and Support, the<br />

system’s <strong>in</strong>teraction with the jo<strong>in</strong>t mission environment will be evaluated along an evaluation<br />

cont<strong>in</strong>uum (Figure 5) us<strong>in</strong>g various LVC comb<strong>in</strong>ations.<br />
