farkl› kategorilerde sahiplerini buldu. Yar›flman›n “2009 En iyi Kongre Turizm Oteli”<br />
kategorisinde ödülü <strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess Sofia’n›n kazand›¤› aç›kland›. 27 Kas›m 2009<br />

bas›n mensuplar› olmak üzere yaklafl›k 300 kiflinin kat›ld›¤› ödül töreninde<br />
“2009’un En ‹yi Kongre Turizm Oteli” ödülü Sofia Belediye Baflkan› taraf›ndan<br />
<strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess Sofia Genel Müdürü Mehmet Varol’a teslim edildi.<br />
Ayr›ca “Sofia Belediyesi 2009 Turizm Ödülü” de yine <strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess Sofia’ya lay›k<br />
görüldü. En çok geceleme gerçeklefltirerek, en fazla turistik vergi ödeyen otele verilen bu<br />
ödülü verirken bir konuflma yapan Sofia Belediye Baflkan Yard›mc›s›; bu ödülün<br />
turizmcileri teflvik etmesi gerekti¤ini belirtirken, ödenen vergilerle Sofia’n›n yap›lanmas›na<br />
ve belediyeye de destek oldu¤u için <strong>Dedeman</strong>’a ayr›ca teflekkürlerini sundu. Sofia’daki<br />
di¤er uluslararas› zincir otelleri geride b›rakarak ödülün sahibi olan <strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess<br />
Sofia, misafirlerine sundu¤u hizmetlerle ön plana ç›k›yor. <strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess Sofia,<br />
601 odas› yaklafl›k 1200 yatak kapasitesi, flehrin merkezindeki ihtiflaml› binas› ile en<br />
önemli tarihi eserlerin tam karfl›s›nda yer al›yor. Otel, mükemmel konumuyla keyifli<br />
konaklamalar yaflat›rken birbirinden leziz tatlar› bar›nd›ran restoran›, pastanesi ve bar› ile<br />

The Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant<br />
Association organized the “2009 Tourism<br />
Awards” awarding many hotels and<br />
restaurants titles in different categories. One<br />
of the categories, “Best Convention and<br />
Tourism Hotel of 2009” was awarded to<br />
<strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess Sofia. The awards<br />
ceremony, which took place on November 27,<br />
2009, was set in the <strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess Sofia.<br />
Speeches, during the press conference which<br />
took place before the awards ceremony, were<br />
given by BHRA President Blagia Ragin, BHRA<br />
PR Manager Sonja Aleksieva, <strong>Dedeman</strong> Sofia<br />
GM Mehmet Varol, and GM assistant Vassil<br />
Illiev all speaking on behalf of the <strong>Dedeman</strong><br />
Sofia’s wonderful and prestigious attributes.<br />
A total of 300 guests attended the event along<br />
with the Head of Bulgarian Economy, Energy<br />
and Tourism, Head of Agriculture, Head of<br />
Culture, Head of Sofia Municipality, Bulgarian<br />
Tour Operations president, businessmen, and<br />
many more; the award was handed over to<br />
the <strong>Dedeman</strong> Sofia General Manager,<br />
Mehmet Varol. The vice chairman of the Sofia<br />
Municipality gave a speech on how the hotel<br />
had the most overnight stays and paid the<br />
highest tourism tax. The speech, meant to<br />
boost tourism, was also a thank you to the<br />
hotel for contributing funds to the city of Sofia<br />
and for the <strong>Dedeman</strong>’s support towards the<br />
municipality. Based upon the service<br />
<strong>Dedeman</strong> Princess Sofia offers its guests,<br />
such as their 601-room count which can hold<br />
up to 1200 guests, their ideal central location<br />
that sits opposite to many historical<br />
attractions in the city, were only some of the<br />
reasons why it was chosen. Besides offering<br />
