effective <strong>and</strong> successful images.<br />

To progress, Pupil E needs to:<br />

Video clip<br />
Context<br />
This work was part of an extended project in which pupils explored their interests <strong>and</strong> environment. <strong>The</strong> aim<br />
was to explore mixed media to develop work on the theme of identity <strong>and</strong> self-image. Students studied the<br />
work of the artists Mary Bero to provide inspiration <strong>and</strong> a starting point for their own exploration.<br />
Pupils worked with the music <strong>and</strong> ICT departments to create a personal signature video, using some of the<br />
imagery they had created. In this piece they extended their thinking about self-identity using video <strong>and</strong> sound<br />
they had recorded themselves <strong>and</strong> combining this with music <strong>and</strong> further images taken from the project.<br />
<strong>The</strong>y used video editing software to create this short video.<br />
Signature video clip ‘Me, Myself <strong>and</strong> I’<br />
Pupil E compiled this short collage of video, sound,<br />
digital <strong>and</strong> scanned images. It takes further the ideas<br />
of self-identity, which has been the theme running<br />
through this project.<br />
