If the button Start Bonding Cycle does not appear in the bottom right hand corner of the<br />

table screen the reason will be identified in the button position. Messages include:<br />

Message in the button<br />

Primary Not Connected<br />

Secondary Not Connected<br />

Zone x not ready<br />

No enabled zones<br />

Task active<br />

Local mode<br />

Reason and the solution<br />

The PC is not communicating with the primary <strong>HBC</strong>-<strong>4301</strong><br />

control case.<br />

Check that the <strong>HBC</strong>-<strong>4301</strong> has been set to Primary in setup<br />

function #1, and the communications cable at both ends.<br />

The PC is not communicating with the secondary <strong>HBC</strong>-<strong>4301</strong><br />

control case.<br />

Check that the <strong>HBC</strong>-<strong>4301</strong> has been set to Secondary in setup<br />

function #1, and the communications cable at both ends.<br />

One of the nominated zones does not have any thermocouples<br />

associated with the zone.<br />

Check the Repair Map layout, and that the thermocouples are<br />

operating correctly (not o/c).<br />

No zones have been associated with the task.<br />

Check the Repair Map layout.<br />

The task is running already.<br />

Use the Halt Heat Cycle function from the Main Menu to stop<br />

the heat cycle.<br />

The control case is set to Local mode.<br />

Use the Setup button and the Function buttons on the <strong>HBC</strong>-<br />

<strong>4301</strong> control case to find setup function #1. Set the option to<br />

Primary or Secondary.<br />

After the above two fields have been entered, an optional adhesive can be entered.<br />
