antidotal examination of the students within our program indicates that we are meeting
this need. Some examples are:
• Administrative RN for a rehabilitation hospital
• Probation officer
• Coach for volleyball club in Colorado
• PT assessment representative for a regional hospital
• An assistant manager for Hudson-Meng bison kill site
• Grant administrator for Lutheran Social Services
• School teacher
• Detective/patrol officer
• Research assistant for US attorney
When this program was proposed to the Board, Chadron State College stated in their
documents:
` Chadron State College serves the vast regional expanse of
the western one-half of Nebraska. The institution is committed
to providing and enhancing (1) excellence in facilitating learning,
(2) focused programs to meet regional needs, and (3) student
accessibility to learning opportunities.
Chadron State College is meeting these goals with the Master’s of Science in Organizational
Management degree program. The courses are designed to address practical situations within an
organization’s management realm. The on-line format of the program allows easy access for
students in our geographic location. Students are receiving a valuable educational service
through the opportunity to access this master’s degree.
Given CSC’s geographic location, CSC is the graduate school of choice for many students across the Great Plains, including central
and western Nebraska, eastern Wyoming, southwestern South Dakota, northeastern Colorado, and northwestern Kansas.
