See lavastus on pühendatud Sulle, Aivar.
Nobeli kirjanduspreemia omistamisel.
Greenwood composed the score for the 2007 film, There Will Be Blood, from director Paul
Thomas Anderson. The soundtrack contains excerpts from “Popcorn Superhet Receiver”. His
work as the composer for this film earned him an award at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
“He was an old man who was fishing alone in his little boat at the Gulf Stream.”
No.
Pilt: Janek Savolainen
He is an old and weird man who is afraid of water and who has made theatre already since the
year I was born. He is magnificent, he is an artist. ARTIST! And a good friend. Aivar Kallaste.
He is the one! Who else?
I have worked together with Aivar, involved him in my publications and productions already... 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6... the current one is already the seventh time that he has said “Yes!” again.
This production is dedicated to You, Aivar.
Thank you again, and once more!
The Old Man and the Sea is a novella by Ernest Hemingway, written in Cuba in 1951 and
published in 1952. It was the last major work of fiction to be produced by Hemingway and
published in his lifetime. One of his most famous works, it centers upon Santiago, an aging
Cuban fisherman who struggles with a giant marlin far out in the Gulf Stream. It is noteworthy
in twentieth century fiction, reaffirming Hemingway’s worldwide literary prominence as well as
being a significant factor in his selection for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954.
