1. The City of Augsburg has passed waste management regulations that control waste avoidance <strong>and</strong> waste<br />
separation. These regulations are binding on exhibitors <strong>and</strong> the organizer.<br />
2. The exhibitor is required to avoid creating waste <strong>and</strong> to separate waste into reusable materials.<br />
3. Environment-polluting waste materials, st<strong>and</strong> components, carpets, mixed waste, packing material, bulk<br />
waste, rubble, production waste <strong>and</strong> waste advertising material are no longer treated as industrial waste.<br />
Such materials are to be disposed of at the exhibitor's own cost or will be disposed of by the Exhibition<br />
Management <strong>and</strong> charged according to outlay.<br />
4. Disposable crockery <strong>and</strong> non-returnable bottles <strong>and</strong> cans are prohibited. Food <strong>and</strong> drinks must be served in<br />
reusable containers.<br />
� Form C (Disposal) in the Exhibitor’s Manual is to be completed <strong>and</strong> returned to the Exhibition<br />
Management by all exhibitors. Failure to complete or return forms results in the costs being charged to<br />
each exhibitor or as a flat rate.<br />
� In some cases, recycling containers are available in the loading yards for small quantities of glass, paper,<br />
cardboard, cartons <strong>and</strong> metal (no packaging).<br />
� Waste accumulated during the day is to be collected separately <strong>and</strong> placed at the edge of the st<strong>and</strong> in the<br />
gangway in the evening.<br />
� Increased fees or the cost incurred will be charged to cover the cost of any additional work caused by carpets<br />
<strong>and</strong> st<strong>and</strong> construction parts not removed by exhibitors.<br />
� The costs will be charged according to outlay.<br />
� Exhibitors serving food <strong>and</strong> drinks for immediate consumption must use washable reusable crockery<br />
<strong>and</strong> cutlery. Disposable crockery is prohibited.<br />
� Organic waste must be collected separately in waste bags provided for this purpose by the Exhibition<br />
Management.<br />
� The waste management consultant of the Exhibition Management is to be kept informed. Compliance<br />
with the instructions is m<strong>and</strong>atory.<br />
