<strong>Air</strong> Cooled Chiller With Remote Condenser( s)<br />

The air-cooled chiller with remote condenser(s) consists <strong>of</strong> compressors <strong>and</strong> liquid<br />

coolers or evaporators that connect to one or more air-cooled condensers.<br />

The basic test for the air-cooled chiller with remote condenser is the same as <strong>Air</strong> Cooled<br />

Chillers with the condenser data being not applicable.<br />

<strong>Air</strong> Cooled Condenser<br />

The basic test for the air-cooled condenser is shown on the Associated <strong>Air</strong> Balance<br />

Council’s “<strong>Air</strong> Cooled Condensing Unit” report form. The basic procedure is to measure<br />

<strong>and</strong>/or report the following:<br />

• Condenser manufacturer nameplate data<br />

• Rated capacity in tons<br />

• Model <strong>and</strong> serial number<br />

• The design <strong>and</strong> actual entering air temperature<br />

• The design <strong>and</strong> actual voltage for the condenser fan( s)<br />

• The design <strong>and</strong> actual amperage for the condenser fan( s)<br />
