How Points are allocated:<br />
Clubs receive points towards the ‘Points Trophy’ from all summer meets within the <strong>Wide</strong><br />
<strong>Bay</strong> region. Meet Secretary’s forward a Meet Manager backup at completion of their meet<br />
to:<br />
janjopson@widebayswimming.org.au<br />
Meets are then rescored as follows:<br />
1 st – 7 points<br />
2 nd – 5 points<br />
3 rd - 3 points<br />
4 th -1 point<br />
5 th -1 point<br />
6 th -.5 point<br />
7 th -.5 point<br />
8 th -.5 point<br />
Once the meet is rescored, clubs are allocated points depending on their overall place at the<br />
meet. For example the <strong>Wide</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> club with the most points will receive 45 points (There are<br />
45 clubs within the <strong>Wide</strong> <strong>Bay</strong> Region) towards the ‘Points Trophy’. The next highest <strong>Wide</strong><br />
<strong>Bay</strong> club will receive 44 points and so on.
