HumilityWhile we are comm<strong>and</strong>ed to overlook <strong>the</strong> faults of o<strong>the</strong>rs, <strong>and</strong>see <strong>the</strong>ir virtues, we are comm<strong>and</strong>ed, on <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r h<strong>and</strong>, to findout our own faults <strong>and</strong> take no account of our virtues. Bahá’u’lláhsays in <strong>the</strong> Hidden Words:—O Son of Being!How couldst thou forge thine own faults <strong>and</strong> busy thyselfwith <strong>the</strong> faults of o<strong>the</strong>rs? Whoso doeth this is accursed of Me.O Emigrants!The tongue I have designed for <strong>the</strong> mention of Me, defileit not with detraction.
