KRYSAŘ
Nejrychleji natočený film na světě, zapsaný v Guinnessově knize rekordů. Dávná pověst o muži
s píšťalou nemá začátek ani konec. V tajemných ulicích starobylé Prahy ožívá jeho příběh na jediný
den. Při prvních krocích potkává Krysař Agnes a Kristiána, jak v otevřeném kabrioletu objíždějí
kostely a prosí o svatebního obřad. Dívka s věnečkem ve vlasech nosí pod srdcem nový život.
Všude jsou odmítáni. Muž v dlouhém plášti, nadaný §podivuhodnou schopností přinést lidem očistu,
dosud lásku nepoznal. Jeho setkání s Agnes je jako blesk z čistého nebe. Marně volá Kristián
jméno své milé, marně jim ďábel nastražuje léčky. V té zběsilé silvestrovské noci se zrodilo pouto,
které je třeba vykoupit…
The Guinness Book of World Records boasts that this is the fastest film ever made. The old
legend of the man with the pipe has neither beginning nor end, and the story here plays out over
just one day in the mysterious streets of Old Prague. The piper soon meets Agnes and Kristián as
they drive around from church to church in their convertible looking for someone to marry them.
Everyone refuses. The girl, hair adorned with a garland, carries new life within her. Gifted with the
remarkable ability to purify humankind, the cloaked piper has yet to taste love. His meeting with
Agnes is like an unexpected bolt of lightening for both of them. In vain does Kristián call out the
name of his beloved; in vain does the Devil set them snares. Bonds have been created on this
wild New Year’s Eve that must be atoned for…
F. A. BRABEC (1954), kameraman a režisér. V roce 1981 absolvoval na katedře kamery
na pražské FAMU. Jako kameraman pracoval na mnoha českých filmech, za kameru k filmu
Jízda (1994) byl oceněn Českým lvem. Jeho režijním debutem je Král Ubu, který získal tři české
lvy (architekt, kamera, hudba). Jako kameraman i režisér vytvořil desítky reklamních spotů
a hudebních klipů.

F. A. BRABEC (b. 1954), director of photography and director,
graduated in camerawork from Prague’s Film Academy (FAMU)
in 1981. He has worked behind the lens on numerous Czech films,
winning a Czech Lion for Jan Svěák’s The Ride (1994). His directorial
debut came with King Ubu, which won three Czech Lions (Art
Director, Camera, Music). He has also shot and directed dozens
of commercials and music videos.
