Users of respiratorsshould be properly trained and fit tested to ensure adequate fit and seal. Users shouldalso be trained in respirator maintenance, cleaning and sanitizing. When not in use,storage facilities to prevent contamination should be provided.Breathing equipment (30-minute units) should meet the specifications as set forth in thecountry of operations:1) Pressure demand units.2) High-pressure hose with swivel fittings on both ends and hand-tight to cylinder.3) Single-stage regulator.4) Audible warning alarm when air supply is depleted to approximately 500 psi (33 bar).5) Air cylinder abrasion-resistant polyurethane coating.Page 33 of 136
