QUARTOSEPTCENTENNIAL SPECIAL SOUVENIRInter Hall Sports MeetMadras Christian College organised its 71 st Inter HallSports meet on 4 th February 2012, Saturday at 2 pm. Mr. KVijay Kumar, IPS, Director General of Central Reserve PoliceForce (CRPF) was the guest of honour for the occasion.The Principal, Dr R W Alexander Jesudasan welcomed thegathering and shared the success story of Mr. Vijay Kumarand motivated the students. He then informed that theUniversity Grants Commission (UGC) had sanctioned seventylakhs for the construction of an indoor stadium in MadrasChristian College.Mr. Vijay Kumar shared his reminiscences and told thegathering, at the outset, “When someone calls you to your ownplace, you do not say No for an answer especially consideringthat it is the 175 th year,” as he started his speech for theday. Congratulating the winners and recalling his studentdays, Mr. Vijay Kumar went on to say, “It was one of mybest years having loads of fun and at the same time notlosing focus on my business that is studies”. He concludedsaying, “I am deeply touched as you made my life, I will keepit in my memory and tuck it forever”.
