QUARTOSEPTCENTENNIAL SPECIAL SOUVENIRThanksgiving MeetingThe QSC year came to an end in a very befitting manner,with two honours being bestowed upon the college. AThanksgiving Meeting was held on 23rd January 2013 at theAnderson Hall, to thank God for the Grace bestowed on MCC.The college in January 2013 received communications fromthe University Grants Commission about the extension ofautonomous status to the institution till 2018 and from theNational Assessment and Reaccreditation Council (NAAC) (abody under the UGC) rating the college ‘A’ grade, a statusenjoyed by very few institutions across the nation.The Principal Dr.R.W.Alexander Jesudasan, in his address readextracts from the communication from UGC on the extensionof autonomous status and also from the communication fromNAAC on the reaccreditation status.
