The 175 th yearcelebration saw the release of a Book of Worship to beused for the worship sessions in the Bishop Heber Chapel.This book contains songs sung during services and orderof service during all seasons and occasions. The book wasrelased by Rev. Robert Willis and recieved by the Principal,Dr. R.W. Alexander Jesudasan at the worship service held on7th January 2012. Four hundred copies of the book are usedin the chapel and a large number were sold out on the dayof its release. It is also available for purchase at the BishopHeber Chapel and the APR Office.This book is the Tamil translation of the Englishbiography of Dr.William Miller written by his close friend,trusted colleague and secretary Rao Sahib O. Kandasamy,in the College Magazine. It was enlarged and published bythe CLS, Madras, the following year. The book has beentranslated by a group of translators and has been edited byDr Gnana Chandra Johnson, Associate Professor, Departmentof Tamil (Aided). The book was released on 7th January2012 during the Worship session by Rev.Canon Ivor SmithCameron and the first copy was received by Dr A BesantC Raj, Chairman, MCC Association. The book portrays thestruggles, sacrifices, determination and dedication of Rev.William Miller from 1862 for the next 45 years.
