QUARTOSEPTCENTENNIAL SPECIAL SOUVENIRLaunch of Korean LanguageProgrammeDuring the 175 year celebration, Madras ChristianCollege launched a number of academic programmes. Italso introduced the Korean language as foreign languagefor MCC students to learn, and explore the possibilitiesof visiting Korea and also to take up employment in theKorean companies in Tamil Nadu and other parts of India. Incontinuation of the Memorandum of Understanding signedby Dr.R.W.Alexander Jeudasan, Principal Madras ChristianCollege and Mr. Soohil Chai, President, Hanshin University,South Korea, last year. The programme was successfullylaunched in the 175 th year of MCC at the Centre for MediaStudies, by Rev. Dr. Yi Hokee and Ms. Emmi on March 13,2012. Principal Dr. R.W. Alexander Jesudasan presidedover the function. Simultaneously the English languageprogramme for Korean students was also inaugurated.
