QUARTOSEPTCENTENNIAL SPECIAL SOUVENIR175th year Graduation dayand College DayGrand celebrations marked the 175 th year graduationday and college day of Madras Christian College with HisExcellency the Governor of Tamil Nadu Dr K Rosaiah as thechief guest. The graduation ceremony was held on 11 th April2012, Wednesday at 5.30 pm in the Anderson Hall. Alsopresent was the MCC Alumni Association President Mr.K MMammen, who led the prayer for the Alumni.Dr R W Alexander Jesudasan welcomed the chief guestand the gathering and presented the annual report of thecollege for the year 2011-2012. Delivering the GraduationDay address, the Governor of Tamil Nadu said that MCChas made a distinguished mark in the field of education.He also expressed his happiness in participating in thequatroseptcentennial celebrations of the historic institution.Later he gave away the special prizes to students for theiracademic excellence in the year 2011. The Principal handedover the diplomas to 1650 students.
