9.4.5 Classical Perfumes<br />
Almost all successful classical perfumes are based on fl oral<br />
aromas. Perfumers created them using natural fl ower oil such as rose and<br />
jasmine. Few persons are aware of the fact that fruit and fl ower oils that are<br />
made by extraction of picked material exhibit different aromas from those of<br />
the living entities. Examples of classical perfumes based on fl oral aromas<br />
are Amarige (Givenchy), Joy (Jean Patou), White Linen (Estée Lauder), Aura<br />
(Hugo Boss), Anais Anais (Cacharel) and Beautiful (Estee Lauder). The difference<br />
in composition between the oil and the aura of Amarige is as follows:<br />
