The connectionto PROFIN<strong>ET</strong> is done with 100 Mbit/s.Thanks to its fully-sealed zinc die-cast housing, the<strong>ET</strong> <strong>200</strong>eco PN is mechanically very rugged and resistant tovibrations, dust, oil, or humidity. It can therefore be mounteddirectly on the machine.The PROFIN<strong>ET</strong> connection with a 2-port switch is integratedinto every module and allows flexible expansion in line andstar topologies.The <strong>SIMATIC</strong> <strong>ET</strong> <strong>200</strong>eco PN is the product for the trend in themarket, which is to migrate the I/Os from the control cabinetinto the machine gaps.ConfigurationThe sensors and actuators, as well as power and bus are connectedvia the rugged M12 connection system.
