The PepstersLerudCookWattWeindorfRuth Lerud has been leading cheers for threeyears. She was elected Pepster King this yearand is well worthy of the title. When Ruth leadsa yell the team seems to pick up new energy.Fred Cook started leading yells this year andhas been doing well. Fred has been out for variousother activities but he always manages to getin a few yells for the team.Virginia Watt has helped lead the cheeringsection for three years. Virginia got her honoraryemblem in 1936. She has ways of leading cheersthat bring great results.Werner Weindorf has his honorary emblemand has led the gang in cheering for three years.Werner goes about leading a yell as though itwere an every day task.Myrtle Hanson has been leading cheers fornearly two years. Myrtle gets her honorary emblemthis spring. Boy, she has certainly earnedit. She is one of those people that are naturalbornleaders.Daniel Wavra just got into the cheering businessthis year, but he already handles himself likean old veteran. Danny can lead yells like nobody’sbusiness, but he makes it everybody’s.Delores Driscoll has had experience in leadingyells for her local 4-H club and does she evermake use of it. She’s all there when it conies toleading yells.Arden Hanson can lead a yell as well as any ofthe other pepsters. “Ked” isn’t green, as freshmenare supposed to be. when it comes to leading.He has the hang of it already.M.
