<strong>Sweet</strong> <strong>Briar</strong> <strong>College</strong>A student may declare, complete, and haverecorded a double major and/or a double minorby fulfilling the requirements for each as statedin the Catalog. With some exceptions, studentsmay double count courses toward majors andminors. Departmental double counting restrictionsare allowed and must be specified in thedepartment sections of the Catalog. Consult theCatalog and the major or minor advisor whenplanning courses to satisfy requirements.Requirements include a minimum of 18 credithours in a department, at least six of whichshall be on an advanced level, as defined bythe department. A grade point average of notless than 2.00 in the minor is required. Theminor grade point average calculation includesall courses taken in the department(s) that cancount towards the minor, as well as all othercourses that are applied to the minor requirementsas stated in the Catalog.
