Because psychedelics defy pharmacological rationality<strong>the</strong>y are misunderstood, feared, and revered as spiritual <strong>in</strong> orig<strong>in</strong>. Thismisunderstand<strong>in</strong>g drives <strong>the</strong> psychedelic <strong><strong>in</strong>formation</strong> process <strong>in</strong>todivergent streams <strong>of</strong> <strong><strong>the</strong>ory</strong> and mythology, creat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> tapestry <strong>of</strong>psychedelic propaganda, confusion, and dis<strong><strong>in</strong>formation</strong> we have today.The divergence <strong>of</strong> psychedelic <strong><strong>in</strong>formation</strong> and existence <strong>of</strong>compet<strong>in</strong>g schools <strong>of</strong> psychedelic ideology demonstrates <strong>the</strong>re is no oneobjective and true psychedelic ideology; any ideology can be <strong>in</strong>fluencedand amplified by <strong>the</strong> psychedelic <strong><strong>in</strong>formation</strong> process. The psychedelic<strong><strong>in</strong>formation</strong> process is neutral and ideology non-specific; it appliesequally to learn<strong>in</strong>g, creativity, m<strong>in</strong>d-control, bra<strong>in</strong>wash<strong>in</strong>g, mysticism,sorcery, and heal<strong>in</strong>g. The psychedelic process and psychedelicarchetypes can be co-opted by any religious or political group forpersonal power ga<strong>in</strong>, and psychedelics can be used as weapons as easilyas <strong>the</strong>y can be used as medic<strong>in</strong>es or sacraments. 13 The only constantbetween all divergent schools <strong>of</strong> psychedelic ideology is <strong>the</strong> physicalprocess that stimulates <strong>the</strong> flow <strong>of</strong> novel <strong><strong>in</strong>formation</strong> through humanneural networks.
