When Bill Finegan arranged for Tommy Dorsey in the late
1940s he took his arrangement of Sleepy Lagoon with him and
the Dorsey band played almost the same arrangement.
The band took the Rock Island RR Lines from Chicago to
Omaha. (GMPR)
Glenn Miller and His Orchestra played at the Chermot
Ballroom, Omaha, Nebraska, from 9:30-1:30 am, and collected

The band took the CG&Q RR Co. from Omaha to Kansas City.
