Glenn Miller and His Orchestra played at the Trianon<br />

Ballroom, Toledo, Ohio, from 9:00-1:00. Miller cracked the<br />

attendance mark set by Guy Lombardo nine years ago. With<br />

tickets $1.25 in advance and $1.50 at the door, Miller<br />

Glenn Miller and His Orchestra played at Lakeside Park,<br />

Dayton, Ohio, from 9:00-1:00 am, and drew 3,200. Patron<br />

paid $2.50 per head to give the spot the highest gross in<br />

its history. In addition, it was the highest admission<br />

price ever played to by the Miller crew. Miller’s share<br />
