That's appropriate. Andthis is typical of the type of job heenjoys working on most. With thehigher-priced conversions, he cantake the time to do all the "little"things inside that make for a trulyhigh-quality custom. The list ofthings he details inside-theworkings that aren't apparentoutside-are just too numerous tolist here, that's how many there are.But, if you're interested, you canwrite to Chuck at the address in ourcontest rules.Chuck likes working on the"Cadillac" conversions the most;however, he also does a wholerange of other work. On your revolver,besides the full custom, heoffers action work, distinguishedclass, 3" street conversions, PPC,and police utility grade work. On acustomer's Model 10, his basic"super tune" job runs about $185with Pachmayr grips included. Fora little more, you can get woodgrips. You can get as much workdone as you want or the'wholepackage: barrel shortening, roundingthe butt, complete tune-up withClass A action, and hand-detailedfinish. He even does some workother pistolsmiths don't, such asexpanding the yoke shaft for atighter fit and better cylinder alignment,if you want that.If our custom giveawqy gunseems a bit oLit of financial reachfor you, you might be interested inknowing that the same conversion(on your M25) can be had.for lessbecause Chuck can fit it with anApex barrel instead of the higherpricedDouglas.
