IV. Objectives1. To provide for the organizati<strong>on</strong>al, financial, working and other necessary capacities for implementing theB<strong>on</strong>n Guidelines <strong>on</strong> Access to Genetic Resources and Benefi t Sharing.2. Apply the B<strong>on</strong>n Guidelines in implementati<strong>on</strong> of the Nati<strong>on</strong>al Programme <strong>on</strong> c<strong>on</strong>servati<strong>on</strong> and use of plant andfarm animal genetic resources and micro-organisms important for nutriti<strong>on</strong>, agriculture and forest management(Nati<strong>on</strong>al Programme). Assess this applicati<strong>on</strong> and provide the obtained results to the CBD Secretariat and toother CBD c<strong>on</strong>tracting parties.3. Prepare search of the Czech and the EC legislati<strong>on</strong>, c<strong>on</strong>cerning the specific aspects of ABS (survey of the CRlegislati<strong>on</strong> related to access to genetic resources and sharing of benefits arising out of their utilisati<strong>on</strong>, includingmodern biotechnical procedures, aspects of intellectual property rights and patents; search into the law andc<strong>on</strong>ceptual documents of the EC and the EU member states c<strong>on</strong>cerned with this subject).
