These are relatively small areas focusedon the protection of specific featuresCategory IV: Habitat/Species Management <strong>Area</strong>Objectives: To assure the natural conditions necessary to protect nationally significantspecies, groups of species biotic communities or physical features of the environmentwhere these may require specific human manipulation for their perpetuation.Controlled harvest<strong>in</strong>g of some resources may be permitted.
