PL‐9GENE NETWORKS AND THE EVOLUTION OF BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMSKolchanov N.A. 1,2 , Afonnikov D.A. 1,2 , Gunbin K.V. 1 , Suslov V.V. 11 Institute of Cytology and Genetics SB RAS, Novosibirsk, Russia2 Novosibirsk State University, Novosibirsk, RussiaGene network represent the functional group of coordinately expressed genes andprovide a basis underlying any morphological trait. For example, formation of each organrequires complex coordinated expression of genes hierarchically organized into the genenetwork. In this report we will discuss how molecular evolution of genes through theirhierarchically organized networks affects the evolution at the level of organism. The work supported in part by RFBR grants 09‐04‐01641‐а, 11‐04‐01771‐а; SB RASintegration projects №109, 26, 119; REC NSU (REC‐008), State contract П857 and RASprograms А.II.6 and 24.2.20
