Capability improvement – Scalability and ReachBefore the advent <strong>of</strong> <strong>Web</strong><strong>in</strong>ars <strong>in</strong> campus connectknowledge dissipation, SMEs were required to travel tothe colleges pos<strong>in</strong>g a restra<strong>in</strong>t on the number <strong>of</strong> collegesthat can be covered. The reach to the colleges before andafter <strong>in</strong>troduc<strong>in</strong>g web<strong>in</strong>ars gives a clear picture <strong>of</strong> theextent <strong>of</strong> change brought about. Table 5 shows thenumber <strong>of</strong> colleges the team was able to reach before andafter <strong>in</strong>troduc<strong>in</strong>g web<strong>in</strong>ars.Without <strong>Web</strong><strong>in</strong>ars, the coverage percentage wouldhave come down from 22.18% to 18.53%. Because <strong>of</strong> thewide reach <strong>of</strong> <strong>Web</strong><strong>in</strong>ars, the coverage percentage has<strong>in</strong>creased from 22.18% to 57.22%, an <strong>in</strong>crease <strong>of</strong> 35.04%<strong>in</strong> coverage <strong>of</strong> colleges. This alsoaid <strong>in</strong> archival <strong>of</strong> Digital library.V. BENEFITS WEBINAR PLATFORM USAGE IN INFOSYSCAMPUS CONNECTSome benefits the team achieved were:• Collaboration – It <strong>of</strong>fered the presenters to share<strong>in</strong>formation, data, applications, desktops, etcalong with allow<strong>in</strong>g participants and presentersto <strong>in</strong>teract amongst themselves publically orprivately thus serv<strong>in</strong>g as a successfulcollaborative medium.• Multiple speakers – The team could employ theadvantage <strong>of</strong> multiple speakers for a s<strong>in</strong>glesession without bear<strong>in</strong>g the travell<strong>in</strong>g cost foreach.
