The sale of oil products on the markets of Montenegroand Slovenia is lower than in the previous year. Sale toother export markets (not including surroundingcountries) records growth in 2007 in relation to 2006.Aiming at expansion of INA’s activities in the region, INAcommenced with commercial activities on the Kosovomarket in September 2007.Activities of bringing imports to the minimum requiredlevel, among others, have ensured targeted and plannedpositive results of the Refining and Marketing Segment.During 2007, import of oil products was reduced by 31%,proving the more efficient use of in-house productioncapacities and resources. Apart from using ownproduction to cover the domestic and regional market,51,416 tonnes of Eurosuper 95 (50 ppm), 134,522 tonnes ofEurodiesel (50 ppm S) and 2,925 tonnes of jet fuel JET A-1were imported.The overall share of INA’s sales on the domestic marketremained the same as in 2006, but the share onsurrounding markets was increased in comparison withthe previous year.During 2007, intensive modernisation of both refineriescontinued.At the Sisak Oil Refinery, a new plant for desulphurisation(Claus) was brought into operation in 2007, and at thesame time the new plant for hydrodesulphurisation ofpetrol (HDS FCC-petrol) is under construction, whosefinalisation and connection is planned for September2008 during a general overhaul of the refinery. At theSisak Oil Refinery the preparation of design documents fornew Isomerisation Plant is under way, being an importantplant within the INA refinery modernisation project.44 Business activities
